Okay. Updates.
1. My permanent resident visa has been approved. I got the letter two days ago, and now my passport is happily in the hands of my case officer, being affixed with that sticky thingy. So what does that mean? That means I have a multiple entry visa for Australia for the next 3 years and I can now work in places that were denied to me before i.e., government agencies.
2. I had an epiphany a few weeks ago. Instead of resenting being here and the reason why, I decided to embrace it. And after I decided to do that, everything fell into place. I am now cutting back hours on my retail job because I am devoting more time to the business and taking on more responsibility. I have also started an apprenticeship with Daz --so that I can fully understand how the technical/theory side of the business works. I figure in the long run, it will be useful and because I know what the jobs entail I can take a lot of things off Darren's hands regarding paperwork. Also because when we eventually have more employees, I will know how to check if they're doing their jobs properly or when they're bullshitting me hehe.
3. The veggie garden has started to yield and now I am up to my ears in cherry tomatoes and chilies.
4. The business is starting to get busy. Hay. Don't get me wrong, I love that we are. But it also means mounds of paperwork for me. As long as I keep on top of it, I know I will be fine, though.
5. On a personal note, I have realised that I have become very materialistic this year and I never used to be. I don't really know if I want to change that because I like the stuff I get lol I suppose the answer is to just make sure I'm not overly excessive. Hmm.
