First of Three (fittings, that is)

posted 18.07.2005 Monday

I had my first fitting with Veluz yesterday and met Nikko, who is making my shoes :)  I went with my friend Trish, who I have contracted to share this experience with me, in lieu of my mom, who is Bacolod and cannot make frequent trips over for this part of the preps, at least.

Trish and I got to her Las Pinas house a little after 4pm and we met Nikko, who is such a sweetheart talaga!  We decided on the "inno" heel for my shoes and a semi-pointy toe.  Am not a very big fan of pointy shoes and am glad neither Nikko nor Veluz were, either :) but I do agree that a semi pointy shoe would look good with the dress.

I fit the dress and all we did was just laugh and crack jokes :)

Trish is even considering having her dress made with Veluz, she enjoyed herself that much! :)

I am still a little torn with the shoes, still looking for photos that would inspire me.  I want nothing very ornate but I don't want anything overly simple either.

While I was wearing the katsa, I still didn't feel so much like a bride.  I was more concerned with how heavy the sweep of the train was and how long the veil was going to be.  Not used to wearing dresses with trains kasi hehe and lol am the ultimate anti-bride, di ba?

Pero surprisingly, Trish commented on how romantic the design was, which I actually never really thought before...

and it was funny how we both started looking at the wedding details and realised that I am a closet romantic!! LOL!

And it took this wedding to get that out of me :) LOL

And I forgot to take my digicam!! Argh!

Oh, well.
