End of Year Meme

1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?

 Be materialistic.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? 

I never make any resolutions :D

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Nope.  Though my pet cockatiel had 4 eggs and hatched all four! 

4. Did anyone close to you die?

No. 

5. What countries did you visit?

Did not travel much this year, sadly enough.  We only made it to Singapore in September.  Hopefully that will change next year! 

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?

Hmm, probably a lot more growth for the business.  On a personal note, maybe a baby haha (tho as soon as I typed that I thought hmm maybe not LOL)

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

There was nothing particularly memorable this year. 

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

It was a joint achievement, really.  Our business grew a lot this past year.  It has been a good year. 

9. What was your biggest failure?

Setbacks, yes. Failures, no.  It's all perspective, isn't it? 

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

I caught a bad flu right before christmas. 

11. What was the best thing you bought?

my iphone :) 

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Daz.  He worked really hard this year.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

my SIL  

14. Where did most of your money go?

loan repayments and holidays 

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

when the cockatiel eggs hatched, I was really really really excited :)  watching the babies grow up, I was really really really excited lol

travel, as always, but with Daz's schedule, it's always a challenge!

lived here lol

20. How did you spend Christmas?

Christmas Eve --just me and Daz, nice dinner, christmas dvds and unwrapping presents :D

Christmas Day --Daz's brother came over for christmas lunch, made pasta on my new pasta machine and more dvds 

21. Did you fall in love in 2008?

I fell in love with so many things (lol, yes things) 

22. What was your favorite TV program?

 still Supernatural and House.  Discovered Gossip Girl, The Mentalist.

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?

no, not really. 

24. What was the best book you read?

reading took a backseat this year.  I read a lot, but a lot of fluff. 

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?

Ay, same as 24. 

26. What did you want and get?

It's been a pretty good year and I got pretty much nearly everything I wanted. And even some things that I didn't say I wanted :D

 More holidays

Nothing remarkable

Can't remember what I did on my birthday, and I was 32.

 More trips overseas

comfortable and classic

Online chats with friends and family, Daz, shopping
