Woke up this morning, hungry, so I made me some brunch:
I miss Chowking, the way it used to be when I was younger and places like Ling Nam or Luk Yuen.
Braised some beef a few days ago, so I just heated that.
Sauteed some chopped garlic and onions in a sauce pan, put some good quality stock in, seasoned to taste, simmered the noodles (didn't have thin egg noodles so had to make do with hokkien), seasoned again. Topped with a bit of the beef. Would have thrown in some spring onions but didn't have them in the pantry.
Close enough :D
